I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, and spent my early twenties living and working all over Canada.  With a Masters' Degree in Resource Management and certificate in Conflict Resolution, I spent the next 15 years working as a negotiator and policy advisor. ​
Significant health challenges in 2009 forced me to abruptly change my life. A yoga practitioner for many years, I returned to my yoga mat and began the slow process of reclaiming my health. Yoga and iRest Yoga Nidra are two of the tools that I relied on heavily during my own recovery journey and they taught me that in order to heal the body, you must also heal the mind and spirit. 

I became a Yoga Alliance certified Hatha Yoga instructor (CYA-200 hour) in 2010, and in 2018 I became a Level 3 Certified iRest® Yoga Nidra Teacher.  I am committed to continually upgrading my skills and knowledge base, focusing in particular on the benefits of yoga and meditation as adjunct healing modalities for trauma, anxiety, and stress-related illnesses.  I offer a range of both yoga and meditation classes in Vancouver, BC.
When we slow down, we rest.  When we rest, we heal.
