This intensive two year program included an in depth study of the philosophies that underpin iRest (Samkyha, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Advaita Vedanta, the teachings of Jean Klein, and Kashmiri Shaivism), a deep personal practice, attendance at two retreats, and an intensive group teaching and dyad practicum.

Topics covered included: advanced training in teaching iRest to groups and individuals; evidence-based research on the efficacy of iRest in different populations; and the philosophical context in which iRest is embedded.
Untangling the Knot: Healing Intergenerational Trauma (2016)
Participated in a weekend workshop facilitated by Sarah Peyton, on the impact and legacy of intergenerational trauma. This experiential workshop brought together the concepts of interpersonal neurobiology, epigenetics, the skills of Nonviolent Communication, and Family Constellation work.

Warriors at Ease is an American not-for-profit that prepares certified yoga and meditation teachers to work with active duty service members, veterans, family members, professional caregivers, and civilian staff. Techniques are also applicable with first responders, including police, paramedics and fire fighters.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder training facilitated by world-renowned expert, Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. Topics included the neurobiology of self-regulation, attachment, and a summary of techniques such as yoga, theatre work, and neurofeedback that have successfully helped people overcome the devastating impacts of trauma.
Teaching Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Yoga Outreach (2013)
Yoga Outreach is a Vancouver-based not-for-profit that partners volunteer yoga instructors with organizations and social service agencies, to provide mindfulness-based yoga classes to often overlooked populations. Their core training readies certified yoga teachers to build and teach trauma-sensitive yoga classes.

Foundations and teaching techniques of Hatha Yoga. This yoga teacher training program is heavily influenced by the Prana and Kripalu Yoga style of teaching.
